What I love to share with our customers is the story behind our items. We revel in the stories of our found treasures with amazing character. Many items were repurposed from visionary craftspersons, or have been found in an old estate, and show the scars of their journey. A journey that landed in this idyllic town.
We live in a special place
A wonderful thing about being in Caldwell, Idaho is that we are away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Places where the mass produced is norm. Caldwell is home because of its charm and its variety. We were founded on the Oregon Trail when people from all over the world were rolling through on their way to “fortune”. Some were fortunate and stayed. And we are fortunate they did.

This history, wonderment, putting down roots, thriving in the beauty is found in some of the engaging home decor in our shop. Like the buffet found in an old farmhouse dating back to 1800’s. As they say, “if only furniture could talk” or a set of China from 1940’s past down from generation to generation. They allow us to keep their story alive by continuing the journey and adding to our own story.
